Ann Martin Collection

Ann Martin (née Ann Denton) entered Northampton Carnival for several years. her costumes were made by her father Fred Denton with help from her monther Connie Denton (née Connie Gill). Her brother Christopher Denton also entered the carnival.

Fred Denton owned the hairdressers on Wellingborough Road, opposite St. Edmunds hospital, next to the Jekyll and Hyde Pub. At the time of writing the hairdressers is a takeaway (2012).
