The Town and County Road Safety Committees will award the following prizes for the best entries in the Parade irrespective of Class which demonstrates Safety First: 1st Prize £4 2nd £3 3rd £2 4th £1 4 consolation prizes of 10/-

Thanks: The Officers and Committee Members of the Northampton Carnival Parade take this opportunity of thanking all who have assisted in any way with the 1954 Carnival Parade. It is impossible to name all those individuals and organisations who have helped, but it is hoped that all will accept this brief tribute as an indication of the Committee's appreciation.

Individual Collectors: Awards for the Highest Collection.
Three Prizes are being awarded to the individual collectors who secure the three highest amounts on Parade night. Money collected in official collecting boxes only will rank for consideration. Competitors in the Parade and individuals taking part in Group collections are excluded.
