Caister used to have a thriving Carnival every year however for various organisational reasons it hasn't taken place for the last two years. However the team felt it was important to attend the Caister Fete and to let people know about the Archive. We found that the people of Caister were still very passionate about their carnival and many would like to see it return. We visited Caister again in the Autumn and ran a very successful collecting day.

On the day of the Fete it rained very heavily, it was extremely windy and we almost lost our tent a couple of times, it thundered and the sunshone for  a few minutes! An eventful day!
