A message from the Chairman of the Urban District Council.
For some years Carnival Day has been the "high spot" of the Summer Season.
This year the Carnival Committee has decided to extend its activities over a week, culminating in the grand finale on Wednesday, 1st August.
As in previous years the proceeds will be devoted to Local Charities, and I trust that ALL, both visitors and residents alike, will join wholeheartedly in the events and contribute generously to the funds.
