Yana (born Pamela Guard) was a famous actress and singer. She crowned the Carnival Queen at Cromer Carnival 1962. This photograph was taken on the day of the carnival. Standing with her is Alfred Howard (Alfie) who was Cromer Town Crier in 1962. The hairman of Cromer Town Council was Jack Webster.
