Description

Amaru Chatawa was one of the masquerade artists who took part in the Lambeth and Wandsworth school carnival projects. Here he is working on making butterfly costumes with a group of children. The children were Y6 so greater technical skills could be developed. making these costumes involved working with glue guns, wire cutters, large staple guns and measuring and cutting fabric and wire. Children chose the themes of their costume, made them and performed in them at the school carnival.
