Description	The Samaritans chose Hippies as their theme for the 1991 Luton carnival as it was fun, easy and inexpensive to create. Top Row: Ben Middle Row Reight to Left: Tommy, Tommy, Elaine, Kamal, Ian. Front Row: Carol, Marilyn, Linda. Marilyn Gearing painted flowers and hearts onto members of the group, as it was such a sunny day some of these left white shapes on the skin of people who got sunburnt.
