The Luton Samaritans van that was used in the 1991 Luton Carnival. In the photo next to the van is Tommy, a member of the group dressed as a hippy.

The Samaritans chose Hippies as their theme for the 1991 Luton carnival as it was fun, easy and inexpensive to create.
