Luton Irish Festival 2006

I am delighted to have the opportunity to attend the 7th Annual St Patrick’s Festival organised by the Luton Irish Forum.
Thanks to you efforts the Festival has become one of the established cultural Festivals in the life of Luton. It is good to see you recognise your heritage, and Luton is delighted to facilitate the running of the Festival which is so colourful and enjoyable.
The Irish are a long established element in the fabric of Luton Life, and indeed have made a major contribution to the development and expansion of Bedfordshire.
I am pleased to take part in the festival with you, and may I compliment you on the voluntary effort you have expended to make the 7th year of the development of the Festival, a continued success.
