I am delighted to have the opportunity to wish you well with the 2005 St Patrick’s Festival and Parade.
This colourful and happy event has now become part of the life of our town, thanks to the efforts of the Luton Irish Forum. 
I am pleased to be able to celebrate the Festival with the people of Luton, and bring some colour and spring sunshine to the town centre, and the Arndale Centre.
The Irish have made a major contribution to the life of the district.
Have a wonderful Festival and may I compliment the St. Patrick’s Festival Committee and everyone involved who gave their free time and energy, to ensure the success of the Festival.
