Message from the Chair of the Luton Irish Forum
As chair of the Luton Irish Forum I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to our 9th annual St Patrick’s Festival. I would like to appeal for support from those whom we call our second generation who will have one or both parents born in Ireland. British by birth, you with Irish heritage handed down by your parents and grandparents. We at the Luton Irish Forum over the years have built a thriving community centre with culture, welfare and many other aspects. One day we hope you will inherit this community centre and play your part in your community. There are many ways you can become involved with the Luton Irish Forum; you could become a volunteer and help others or help out in the office using your computer skills for example or you might make use of our services such as our excellently trained advice service. You will find all our details in this booklet including how to become a member of this busy, forward thinking and committed organisation. If you would like to find out a bit more about us you can contact is on the details in this book or drop in and see us at Kathleen Connolly House in Hitchin Road. Please think as you enjoy the festival.
