One of the very best behaved entrants in the Carnival Parade, had four legs and was pure white, Sparky, an 18-year-old pony, clearly thoguht the whole affair beneath him and was more interested in the food available. His rider, 12 year old 'cowgirl' Joanne Humphrey from Kingsthorpe said "He had a look at the floats, but once he saw what they were he just started eating the grass".
