The Northampton Carnival Committee and the Northamptonshire and district Hospitals Guild, last night jointly presented a cheque for £2,700 to Northampton General Hospital, for a cardiac module for the X-ray department and an infant care centre for use with premature babies.
Looking at the care centre in the boardroom of the hospital, are, from left to right, Dr. M. Connell, Mr. S.G. Hill, district administrator, councillor Mrs. Joan Green, president of the Hospital Guild and the Carnival Committee, Mr. R.T.C. Dyer, Secretary of the Hospital Guild and Carnival Committee, Mr, Gordon roberts, chairman of the Area Health Authority, who received the cheue, and Dr. J. Wynne-Williams.
