NORTHAMPTON’S Carnival Parade is with us again. The Carnival parade is one of the outstanding events in the life of our Town and it is hoped that it will bring much enjoyment. Many hundreds of people have co-operated to bring this Carnival Procession on to the streets of Northampton, and we hope that it will not only be a great spectacle, but a successful means of supporting some of the Charitable Bodies of the Town.
In your enjoyment of the Carnival parade we appeal to all of you to be as generous as possible. Last year the record sum of £1,384 15s. 7d. was collected, and we’re hoping that 1960 Carnival parade will produce £1,500 – PLEASE BE VERY GENEROUS.
